Same-day delivery now available in Southwestern Ontario on Amazon

Amazon has added a new Prime delivery slot, giving customers more options for same-day delivery.

Southwestern Ontario is now eligible for same-day delivery through Amazon.

New delivery windows have been added for Prime members, allowing same-day delivery options between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

This follows the same move in Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area last year.

Bruce Winder, a retail analysist, said Canadian consumers are looking for more convenience.

“I think it offers them more convenience and value knowing that people are really busy these days,” he said.

“A lot of people work two jobs, they’re going to school, etc. I think it’s just a changing sign of the times now where people want things almost on demand.”
