The LaSalle Police Service has laid additional charges against a Lasalle man accused of a hate crime. Nicholas Amor, 30, has been charged with two more offences after further investigation. In October 2025, an investigation was initiated by LaSalle police in relation to alleged hate speech that resulted in the arrest of Amor, who was charged with Public Incitement of Hatred. Amor was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody. Amor remains in custody and was charged on Tuesday with the following: • Possess Explosive Substance • Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
