Family, friends and community members are mourning the loss of a longtime leader at Windsor Regional Hospital has. Jonathan Foster spent two decades with the hospital, most recently as a vice-president. His family says Foster died at home on Saturday after a brief illness. His responsibilities at the hospital included emergency care, mental health, and cancer services. He also directed the COVID-19 field hospital at St. Clair College, which cared for people from long-term care homes during the pandemic. Outside of his hospital work, Foster served on the board of the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society. His family remembers him for his kindness, humour, and the many lives he touched.
