Windsor fire and police investigating a ‘suspicious fire’ in the 1600 block of Drouillard Road. According to a social media post, the incident was called in just before 2 a.m. on Thursday at a mixed commercial and residential building. Around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, police released more information on the incident, as they launched an arson investigation. The Windsor Police Service said nobody was injured in the incident, but damages were an estimated $250,000. After a preliminary investigation, the WPS Arson Unit deemed the fire suspicious. Nearby residents and businesses are asked to check video surveillance and dash cam footage for any potential evidence in the investigation.
