Cool and damp weather in southern Ontario forecast

It’s cool and damp across southern Ontario, with temperatures averaging about 10C below where we should be for this time of year.

Showers continue and periods of rain expected Wednesday night.

The area of low pressure will slowly wind its way to the south of the London area, generating rounds of rainfall.

Rain will continue this afternoon and periods of rain Wednesday night. There could even be some thunderstorms along that northeastern shoreline of Lake Erie, so anywhere between the London area, and south.

Showers will continue heading into Thursday. Dreary conditions and cool temperatures will average well below normal heading through the week and into the weekend.

There’s a bright spot as we move into Saturday is Sunday, but rainfall will be the weather story through the week. Great for grass and gardens.

Thursday: Showers. Wind becoming east 30 km/h in the morning. High 12

Friday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 10.

Saturday: Sunny. High 16.

Sunday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 17.
