A man on a motorcycle was seriously injured after a crash at a busy intersection in Ottawa’s south end on Tuesday morning. Ottawa paramedics say first responders were called to a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a small SUV at the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Riverside Drive shortly before 7:45 a.m. The motorcycle rider, an adult male, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps. He was taken to hospital in stable condition, he said. Ottawa police officers were in the area assisting with traffic closures in the area. All roads had cleared by around 8:30 a.m. It’s the latest in a series of motorcycle-involved crashes in Ottawa so far this month. A man riding a scooter was killed after colliding with a car near the Carlingwood Shopping Centre on June 14. A man in his 20s riding an e-bike suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash in Barrhaven one week ago.
