Changes to Nexus lane locations at tunnel

The location of Nexus lanes on the U.S. side of the tunnel are changing.

If you use nexus to cross into the U.S. through the Windsor–Detroit tunnel, there’s an important change you’ll want to know about.

Starting Wednesday, drivers heading from Windsor into the U.S. saw a change to where nexus lanes are located on the Detroit side of the tunnel.

On weekdays, from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Nexus lanes will be on the right side of the U.S. plaza, with general traffic moved to the left — outside those hours, the setup flips back.

Officials say the change is in effect until further notice and drivers should follow posted signs.
