A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Victoria, and police are asking the public for help finding the driver who they say left the scene. The collision happened around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000-block of Caledonia Avenue. The cyclist was travelling west on Caledonia Avenue when they were hit by a dark-coloured SUV, according to investigators. The driver, described as a man, left the scene after the collision and continued west on Caledonia Avenue. The cyclist suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or captured video of the incident. Dash-cam footage, surveillance video or information from anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision could help police piece together what happened.
