Mounties in Richmond are looking for witnesses to a crash that left a motorcyclist dead last week. Richmond RCMP issued an appeal for witnesses Tuesday, one week after the crash occurred at the intersection of No. 1 and Lockhart roads. The crash involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle and occurred shortly before 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 1. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital and later died from injuries suffered in the crash. Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the crash—or was travelling in the area between 4:15 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. and has dash-cam video—to contact them. “Investigators are working to establish the circumstances surrounding this collision and are asking anyone with information or video footage to come forward,” said Cpl.
