A novice driver has been ticketed after a rollover crash in Abbotsford Tuesday evening that left a car upside down on an electrical box. Police said speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash, which occurred near Clearbrook Road and Oak Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. In a social media post Wednesday, the Abbotsford Police Department said the Toyota Corolla was seen travelling at speeds of up to 90 kilometres an hour before it eventually struck another vehicle. The car then flipped upside down before coming to a rest on an electrical box near a home. Police said two vehicles parked in the area were also damaged. The “N” driver suffered minor injuries, while no one else was hurt. Police ticketed the driver for driving without due care and attention, and the vehicle was towed away from the scene.
