Mounties in West Kelowna are searching for two people seen on surveillance video after multiple election campaign signs belonging to various candidates were allegedly taken from their original locations and relocated. West Kelowna RCMP said officers received a report the signs were removed shortly after midnight Friday and placed at two residential properties in the Shannon Lake area. “While some of the signs were damaged during the incident, investigators have found no evidence to suggest they were intentionally vandalized, and no property damage has been reported,” Mounties said in a statement. Authorities said surveillance video from the area shows two people dropping off the signs before driving away in a light-coloured pickup truck, believed to be either a Chevrolet or GMC with a lift kit and mud flaps. Mounties are now looking for additional surveillance video and asking anyone that could help identify the people involved to come forward.
