Mounties are searching for a grey vehicle with an Alberta licence plate that investigators believe is connected to a shooting earlier this week in northern British Columbia. The Prince George RCMP says officers responded to witness reports of a shooting at a trailer park in the 3700 block of Lansdowne Road just before 8 a.m. on June 30. Police found evidence that shots had been fired and identified a trailer believed to have been targeted, the RCMP said in a statement Thursday. Officers entered the trailer after receiving no response at the door and found three people inside. No one was injured. A grey sedan with an Alberta plate was seen leaving the area and is believed to have been involved in the shooting, police said. The RCMP released a surveillance image of the vehicle, which appears to have dark tinted windows. “We are asking for anyone in the area who may have witnessed the event or has dash camera footage or video surveillance showing the incident or movement in the neighbourhood at the time it occurred to please contact our non-emergency line,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said in a statement. The investigation is ongoing.
