The Macdonald Bridge between Halifax and Dartmouth, N.S., will close Sunday. From 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, vehicles will not be able to cross the bridge. Halifax Harbour Bridges (HHB) notes Natal Day weekend events will be taking place, leading to the closure. The annual Harbour Hustle run across the bridge will start at 10 a.m. The one-mile course sees runners and walkers of all ages hustling from Halifax to Dartmouth, with registration required. HHB says afterwards “BRIDGEWALK 2026” will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. crossing the bridge at a more leisurely pace and is free to the public. The organization says there will be bands, entertainment and community booths to explore on the toll-free suspension bridge. For more Nova Scotia news, visit our dedicated provincial page
