Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for deliberately damaging more than a dozen vehicles in South Vancouver over the past week. The Vancouver Police Department said several vehicles were keyed and had their tires slashed between Fraser Street and Victoria Drive, from East 45th and East 61st avenues. Investigators said they believe the incidents may be related. “We believe there are possibly more victims who have had their vehicles damaged and may not have reported it to police,” Const. Megan Lui said in a news release on Friday. “We recommend anyone with CCTV or eyewitnesses to contact our investigators.” Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call the VPD at 604-717-3321.
