A man who died in Vancouver’s CRAB Park on Wednesday has been identified by police. The Vancouver Police Department says officers were called to 101 East Waterfront Rd. just before 7 a.m. for reports of “a man in medical distress.” He was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of first responders. The victim has now been identified as 57-year-old Charles McIntyre. While his death is classified as Vancouver’s sixth homicide of the year, police shared no further details on the incident in their update Thursday. Police asked anyone who knew McIntyre or has information about the crime to call the VPD Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
