A Bradford, Ont., man has been arrested and charged after police allege he installed hidden cameras, including at his workplace, to secretly record women in washrooms in the City of Markham. York Regional Police (YRP) say officers were notified of the situation in February. Police say they later determined that one of the washrooms where one of hidden cameras was allegedly installed was at the suspect’s workplace. Investigators also allege the suspect possessed videos showing victims engaged in consensual sexual activity. They noted that it is unclear whether the individuals depicted were aware they were being recorded. According to police, the videos contained timestamps dating back several years. Robin Cleland, 44, of Bradford, has been charged with five counts of voyeurism. The charges have not been tested in court. Police say this investigation is ongoing and are appealing for additional potential victims to come forward.
