Joshua McGinnis is a multi-platform writer for CP24 and CTV News Toronto.
He joined the digital team in April 2026.
As a reporter, Joshua has a keen interest in breaking news coverage, national and international politics, and photojournalism. Before joining CTV News, he spent time working with outlets across Toronto, such as the Toronto Star, Beach Metro Community News and the Bluffs Monitor.
During his career, Joshua has worked in roles involving writing, photography, and video production. Joshua is trained through Centennial College's contemporary journalism program.
Joshua speaks English.
