Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect wanted for multiple sexual assaults involving a minor in Brampton. On Jan.16, Peel Regional Police’s (PRP) Special Victims Unit began an investigation after a girl came forward to report a number of incidents that occurred between the summer of 2023 and September 2024. They said that the victim, who was 15 years old at the time, was approached on several occasions by an unknown male along the pathway that connects Williams Parkway and Bovaird Drive, at the rear of St. Maria Goretti Elementary and Fred Kee Park. Police said the suspect initially engaged the teen in general conversation about school and her appearance. “This escalated to the suspect touching the victim in a sexual manner,” PRP alleged. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a Black male with light skin, bald, and tattoos on his forearms that may possibly be cursive writing that appears vertically. Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims and are urging them to come forward. Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or details about the investigation is asked to call PRP’s Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
