Three youths are facing nearly 200 charges in connection with multiple break-and-enters at businesses across Mississauga over a three month period.

In a release on Friday, Peel police said between November 2025 and January 2026, officers responded to reports of more than 35 break-ins throughout the city.

Various vehicles were used in all of the incidents, police said, including a 2007 silver Acura RDX and a 2009 Hyundai Elantra.

“As part of an extensive investigation known as Project Toretto, officers executed four search warrants on Feb. 10 at three Mississauga residences and on one vehicle,” investigators said.

Those searches led to the arrests of two minors and the recovery of more than $50,000 in stolen property, including jackets, shoes, perfumes, and various cosmetic products.

The first youth arrested was charged with 22 counts of break, enter and commit indictable offences, 28 counts of disguise with intent, and 26 counts of possession of break and enter tools, among others.

The second has been charged with 17 counts of break, enter and commit indictable offences, 24 counts of disguise with intent, 23 counts of possession of break and enter tools, and others.

Neither can be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Investigators say they are still searching for a third youth suspect who is wanted for four counts of break and enter with intent to commit indictable offences, eight counts of break, enter and commit indictable offences, and 12 counts each of disguise with intent and possession of break and enter tools.

Between the three, they face 190 charges related to the investigation, police said.

“Break and enters have a real and lasting impact on residents and local businesses, and no one should feel unsafe in their own community,” Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Marc Andrews said in Friday’s release.

“Project Toretto reflects the commitment of our officers to identifying those responsible and restoring a sense of security to the affected neighbourhoods.”
