Police release images of suspect vehicle after Oakville home shot at on Canada Day

Police have released images of a suspect vehicle after shots were fired at a home in Oakville on Canada Day.

Halton Regional Police said a white four-door sedan was parked outside Sawyer Drive on July 1 at 1:30 p.m.

One person got out of the sedan and fired multiple shots at a residence and a vehicle parked in the driveway, they said.

It is not known why it was targeted in the incident.

No injuries have been reported.

Halton police are asking anyone with dashcam or security footage on Sawyer Drive and Rebecca Street between Bronte Road and Third Line on July 1 between 1 and 2 a.m. to reach out to them at 905-825-4777, ext. 2216, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
