A 56-year-old motorcyclist has serious, life-threatening injuries following a collision in Uxbridge, Ont., on Tuesday afternoon. Police said they responded to the scene around 4:10 p.m. in the area of Regional Road 47 and Uxbridge Concession Road 2. Durham Regional Police said a Yamaha motorcycle travelling eastbound and a grey Toyota Tacoma travelling northbound collided. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre. Police said he remains in stable condition. Durham police said the driver of the Toyota Tacoma, a 56-year-old woman, remained on the scene and cooperated with officers. The cause of the collision is under investigation. Police are asking anyone with footage of the incident to contact them.
