A Chinese language tutor has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor, York Regional Police announced Friday. Last week, police said, the victim came forward to report that their tutor had touched them for a sexual purpose during lessons on “multiple occasions” between January and July 2026. The victim is under the age of 16, according to police. Toronto resident Yang Fu Luo, 51, was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference. Police said they believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information about the investigation to contact them at 1-866-876-5423 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
