Toronto police have arrested seven men wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Etobicoke that left one man dead. On June 9, Canada-wide warrants were issued for all seven suspects in the killing of 28-year-old Anthony Taylor. On May 31, police were called to the area of Queens Plate Drive and Rexdale Boulevard after reports of a shooting in an apartment building, police said in a news release. When officers arrived, they found Taylor in a hallway on an upper floor of a Toronto Community Housing building. Life-saving measures were performed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Following an investigation, police arrested all seven suspects. Daniel Addae, 23; Kobina Ackon, 30; Gideon Addae, 24; Dejohn Marlin, 23; Kyondre Davis, 23, all of Toronto; and Justin Nichol, 23, of Mississauga, have each been charged with one count of second-degree murder. Picart and Gideon Addae also face additional charges, including possession of a firearm without holding a licence and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm. All seven were scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
