One of Quebec’s most wanted fugitives may be in the Greater Toronto Area. In a news release on Thursday, Quebec’s provincial police said investigators have a reason to believe that 52-year-old Gianpietro Tiberio is in the GTA. Tiberio is sought in connection with a 2012 shooting at the former Domenica-In café on Provencher Boulevard that killed Domenico Facchini and wounded Vito D’Orazio. He is wanted for murder and attempted murder. Tiberio is described as standing five-foot-11 and weighing 243 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. Police said he may have a beard. Anyone who sees him is asked to contact 911 immediately. Those who have information about his whereabouts can also call Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
