Toronto to see double-digit daytime highs by end of the work week

Toronto will see an unseasonably cool start to the work week before the forecast heats up ahead of the weekend.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 7 C on Monday, a few degrees below the average daytime high of 10 C. The city could also see flurries or showers on Monday.

The temperature dips down to just 2 C on Tuesday with more flurries possible.

Sunshine and a high of 5 C is expected on Wednesday before the temperature surges on Thursday.

A high of 15 C is in Toronto’s forecast on Thursday, although some rain may appear.

More showers are expected on Friday, which will see a high of 13 C.

A mix of sun and cloud and a high of 12 C is in the forecast on Saturday. Cloudy skies and a high of 14 C are expected on Sunday.
