A 91-year-old pedestrian is dead after she was struck by a driver in Hamilton Tuesday night. Hamilton police said the senior was walking within the bike lane with a walker at 8:30 p.m. in the area of Stone Church Road East and Upper Wellington Street when she was struck from behind by an 81-year-old driver. She was transported to hospital in critical condition. In an update, police said she has since succumbed to her injures. Police have not identified her. The driver remained at the scene and is co-operating with police. No charges have been laid at this time. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 905-546-4753.
