1 person fighting for their life following 2-vehicle crash on the Gardiner Expressway: paramedics

An adult has been rushed to a trauma centre in serious, life-threatening condition following a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on the Gardiner Expressway, paramedics say.

Toronto police say the crash happened just after 4 p.m. near Islington Avenue in Etobicoke.

The driver of vehicle remained on scene, police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

Lane restrictions were in place on the eastbound Gardiner as police investigated.
