A crowd of people was seen stampeding through an intersection in Taipei, Taiwan for a rare Pokemon in a frenzied scene that was captured on video.
The hectic scene shows a mass of people waiting for the traffic light to change before charging through the street to catch the Snorlax that had spawned in the mobile game Pokemon Go just outside of Beitou Park on Saturday.
The popular mobile app encourages players to search for and catch Pokemon that appear on a virtual map of the area around them. As the player walks, their virtual character also walks in the game allowing them to find different Pokemon in different places.
The game stems from the popular trading cards and shows that continue to air today.
