Saskatoon police say two men are facing charges after a wanted person was found in the city with outstanding warrants from multiple jurisdictions. Police say they were alerted by the Vancouver Police Department that a 27-year-old man wanted on 16 warrants was believed to be in Saskatoon. The warrants were issued by police agencies in British Columbia and Alberta. Police arrested the 27-year-old man and an 18-year-old man at about 5:30 p.m. on June 23 at a home in the 200 block of Barrett Street. Following the arrests, police executed a search warrant at the same address where they seized more than $12,000 in cash, cocaine in both powdered and crack forms, shotgun shells, a knife and items consistent with drug trafficking. In addition to the outstanding warrants, both men now face a total of 10 new charges related to drugs, proceeds of crime, weapons and breaching court-imposed conditions.
