Stonebridge house fire originated in the attic, fire department says

Fire broke out in the attic of a house in the Stonebridge neighbourhood on Sept. 5, 2017.

Three houses in the Stonebridge neighbourhood were damaged after a fire on Tuesday night.

Fire crews were called to the 700 block of Stonebridge Common just after 9 p.m.

The Fire Department says flames could be seen on all sides of top floor of the two story single family home.

It is believed the fire started in the attic.

The home was for sale and no one was living there.

The houses on both sides both had some damage to the exterior vinyl siding.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. Damage to all three homes is pegged at $300,000.00.
