One dead after rollover near La Ronge, Sask. RCMP say

One person is dead after a single vehicle rollover just north of La Ronge.

According to Saskatchewan RCMP, officers, EMS and fire crews were called to the scene at around 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Four people were inside the vehicle when it crashed.

One passenger was declared dead at the scene. She has been identified as a 31-year-old woman from La Ronge. Her family has been notified.

The driver and remaining two passengers were taken to hospital with injuries described as “serious in nature.”

As of 2 p.m. Friday, Highway 102 north of La Ronge remained closed.

RCMP advised drivers in the area to expect delays as emergency crews remained at the site of the crash.
