Forensic officers called to Westview apartment for suspicious death investigation

Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death in Westview after a man was found unresponsive in an apartment in the neighbourhood.

Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found injured and unresponsive in a Westview apartment on Thursday night.

Officers were called to the apartment, located in the 1100 block of Avenue W North, just after 8:30 p.m., according to a Saskatoon Police Service news release.

First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the person was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Police say forensic officers have begun their investigation and collection of evidence in the apartment, and more information will be provided when it’s available.
