A pair of adult males are facing charges after police say they broke into a condo complex under construction on College Avenue in Regina. Police received a call from a security monitoring company on May 17th following an alarm triggered at a site in the 1700 block of College Avenue. The monitoring employee reported seeing two suspects enter the property, climb scaffolding, and gain access to the building. Officers responded and began searching the area for the suspects. The RPS Canine Unit was also called in to assist with tracking. A short time later, police found both individuals on a third-floor balcony inside the construction site and took them into custody without incident. As a result, a 42-year-old male is charged with breaking and entering and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on July 6. A second accused, a 43-year-old, is also charged with break and enter and commit. He made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday. The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
