Dessart Sweets on 13 Ave. launched its soft serve menu for 2026 on March 13, with plans to launch its vegan menu on March 17. Milky Way Ice Cream will open for the year on March 19, marking 70 years since it first opened in 1956. Elle’s Café on 13 Avenue will open up its soft serve swirls and sweets window two days later on March 21. Other soft serve ice cream stands like the Moo Shoppe or Polar Palace typically open by late March but have not confirmed opening dates. There are also several year-round options in the city.
