One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries following a house fire in west Regina Wednesday night. According to Regina Fire, crews were called to a home on the 4900 block of Sherwood Drive around 8:23 p.m. Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke conditions but were able to bring the blaze under control. “One occupant [was] transported to hospital by EMS with minor injuries,” Regina Fire said. The fire remains under investigation.
