Two items now for sale at city hall gives visitors to the Queen City a chance to take home a unique memory of Regina, its scent. A new signature candle and diffuser are part of a revamped Tourism Regina and City of Regina collection alongside new look “I Love Regina” gear, that the city says is part of its longstanding civic pride campaign. “Tourism Regina’s new signature candle and oil diffuser are a unique way for visitors to take home a memory of Regina. Created in partnership with a local artisan, these items are beautifully crafted keepsakes that celebrate Regina’s creativity and local spirit,” deputy city manager for communications, service Regina and tourism Jennifer Johnson said in a news release. Both the City Lights candle and oil diffuser are custom-scented and were developed in collaboration with local entrepreneur Sara Lindsay. “For the City Lights candle and oil diffuser, we blended sage, lavender, cedar and vanilla to capture the warmth and charm of Regina. I hope both items become a beloved reminder of our city for both residents and visitors,” Lindsay said in the release. Along with the candle and diffuser, new look I Love Regina merchandise includes popular items like t-shirts, hats, tote bags, mini sticks, frisbees and Charlie the Chickadee Squishmallow, a homage to the city’s official bird, the city said. All of the merchandise can be bought at city hall.
