A 24-year-old man has been accused of intentionally swerving into another vehicle, causing the victim to crash into a tree. Regina police say it happened early morning Saturday in the 2100 block of Hamilton Street. Officers arrived at the scene around 2:45 a.m., finding both vehicles heavily damaged and undriveable. However, neither the victim nor the accused reported injuries. Police say the accused had intentionally swerved into the other vehicle, causing both drivers to lose control, resulting in the victim crashing into a tree. Both the victim and accused knew each other, according to an update from police. The 24-year-old suspect was charged with operating a conveyance in a manner that is dangerous to the public and assault with a weapon. He’s set to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Oct. 20, 2026.
