The Saskatchewan Roughriders are hosting the B.C. Lions in the CFL’s West Division final today at Mosaic Stadium. If you’re going to the game, here’s what you need to know: Road closures Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. and the regular game-day road closures will be in effect around Mosaic Stadium both before and after the game. The Regina Police Service is asking motorists and pedestrians to follow directions, have patience and be courteous to other users of the road. The following road closures will be in effect three hours prior to kickoff: There will be no vehicle traffic allowed on the 1500, 1600, and 1700 blocks of Elphinstone Street. Access will be limited to Regina Transit buses and local residents only (you may be asked to show that you are a local resident, e.g. home address on identification or correspondence). Fans and motorists will find road closures on: Rider Transit Free bus transit is available to get Rider fans to Mosaic Stadium from various locations across the city, including Southland Mall, University of Regina, the Turvey Centre, Victoria Avenue and Scarth Street. Since there is construction on Dewdney Avenue, the Warehouse District stops will be at 6th Avenue and Rose Street and 8th Avenue and Scarth Street. Buses will run starting one hour and 45 minutes before the game. The last bus departs from each location 30 minutes before kickoff. Buses will return to the drop-off locations at the start of the fourth quarter and continue to shuttle until 75 minutes after the game. Other tips Digital tickets: Fans can download the Rider App onto their smartphones to have their digital tickets ready before heading to Mosaic Stadium. Clear bag policy: Each fan, including children, can bring in one clear bag sized 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller. Purses, backpacks and camera bags are prohibited. Playoff Pregame Party: From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Playoff Pregame Party will be held in Confederation Park. Fans can warm up by the fire pits, enjoy $5 beer specials, and rock out to live music from The Otherz Band. Halftime entertainment: The Nightrain, a Guns N’ Roses tribute band, takes the stage at halftime. Also included at halftime is the Old Dutch Kick To Win contest, where one lucky fan will attempt a 50-yard field goal for an incredible $500,000 prize. A little more cowbell: The first 10,000 fans through the gates will score a 620 CKRM cowbell.
