Death of missing Ochapowace teen deemed not suspicious

The death of a 17-year-old whose body was found Saturday is not suspicious in nature, an autopsy has determined.

Kelly Allary went missing two weeks ago on the Ochapowace First Nation. His body was found by a family member along the southeast shore of Round Lake, close to the residence where he was last seen.

An autopsy determined his death was not suspicious, RCMP stated in a media release Wednesday. Police have now closed the criminal aspect of their investigation into his death.

Allary was last seen May 19. Family members and others in the community initially conducted a ground search, but found no sign of the missing teen. RCMP later began an air search for Allary on May 26.

Round Lake is located 160 kilometres east of Regina.
