CAMPBELLTON, N.B. - RCMP say two men and a woman face charges in connection with marijuana growing operations in northern New Brunswick.

Police say a four-month investigation resulted in the dismantling of three indoor and six outdoor growing operations in Restigouche County.

The Mounties say they seized more than 1,600 plants.

Forty-year-old Serge Levesque of Val d'Amour, N.B. and Nancy Bernard, 28, of Listuguj, Que., face charges related to an indoor growing operation and are scheduled to appear in a Campbellton, N.B. court on Oct. 24.

Thirty-three-year-old Christopher Lewis of Dawsonville, N.B. faces charges in connection with an outdoor growing operation and is appear in court Oct. 31.

Police say the made a total of 10 arrests during the busts and further charges could be laid.
