Rachel McAdams says film sets are "too distracting" for romance.

The 33-year-old Canadian actress insists actors are too busy to find love when they are working but admits there are opportunities for Cupid to strike when co-stars have to promote their movies.

She said: "A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive; it's too distracting. Every relationship I've had with a co-worker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie."

Rachel is currently dating Michael Sheen, who she met on the set of 'Midnight in Paris' in July 2010.

She was previously in a lengthy relationship with Ryan Gosling - who she starred with in 2004 movie 'The Notebook' - from 2005 to 2008.

The screen beauty is gearing up for the release of her next film 'The Vow', in which she appears opposite Channing Tatum.

Rachel admits she was concerned the pair wouldn't have the right chemistry for their characters' intense romantic relationship because they are such great friends.

In an interview with the February issue of America's Glamour magazine, she said: "I was worried we might not (have the right chemistry), because we were more like brother and sister, like buds. Channing is very outgoing, very kind and a lot of fun to work with."
