Via Rail trains providing service in Ottawa are no longer experiencing delays following a disruption on the tracks near Anderson Road on Monday evening. Anderson Road from Ridge Road to Russell Road, as well as Ramsayville Road from Ridge Road to Russell Road were closed by Ottawa Police Service around 6:30 p.m., and trains destined for and leaving the city were experiencing delays, according to Via Rail’s real time tracker. Police reopened both Anderson and Ramsayville Roads shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday. According to Via Rail’s real-time tracker, trains providing service to Ottawa are now operating regularly.
