Another downtown watering hole is shutting its doors. Rudy’s Eat and Drink on Graham Avenue announced on social media that it is closing after 15 years. “Cheers to the years of local beer, burger weeks, Jets games, weddings, catering, stone soup week, DJ nights, charitable events and everything in between – we will hold these memories forever,” the post read. The restaurant did not provide a reason for the closure. This is the latest closure in the core, after the Tavern closed in July. The Keg on Garry Street has also moved and Greta Arcade Bar will be taking over the location. CTV News has reached out to Rudy’s management for more details.
