The CHEO Telethon airs on CTV Ottawa on June 6, but you can donate now

The CHEO Telethon campaign runs from May 25 to June 6, 2026, capping off with the live broadcast from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 6.

The 43rd annual CHEO Telethon kicks off today in the leadup to the yearly broadcast on CTV Ottawa.

The broadcast will air from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 6, with powerful stories of hope, courage, and resilience.

Donations can be made online starting today and will be doubled up to a total of $15,000.

Donations will help purchase specialized equipment and technology, fund patient and family support programs and fuel world-class research to help CHEO discover better and safer ways to provide care for children, youth, and families from eastern and northern Ontario, western Quebec, and Nunavut.

This year’s Telethon will feature stories from six remarkable children who access a variety of clinics and care teams at CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, CHEO School and Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.

CTV News Ottawa will be showing Telethon segments in the first week of June, leading up to the live, three-hour broadcast on June 6.

Last year’s CHEO Telethon on CTV Ottawa raised $755,240.
