The Ottawa Police Service says a 27-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an online child exploitation investigation linked to two popular platforms. On Friday, police said a man was arrested following a report of explicit online conversations with a person under 16. According to police, the investigation involved the use of Roblox and Snapchat. Corey Lawrenson is charged with telecommunication with a person under 16 for a specific offence and making available explicit material to a person under 16. Police say he used the handle “Coreyindahood” on Snapchat.
