Police seize 29 pounds of dried cannabis at home in Val-des-Monts, Que.

Police in Gatineau, Que. seized 29 pounds of dried illicit cannabis, 2,100 THC-infused pre-rolled joints and other drugs as part of an investigation into illicit cannabis trafficking in the city.

Police said on Sept. 16, officers executed a search warrant at a home on rue Eugène-Gravelle in Val-des-Monts.

During a search of the home, police seized 29.5 pounds of dried illicit cannabis, 91 THC gummies, 102 THC vapes, 12.5 grams of cannabis oil, 100 psilocybin tables, vendor bags, two long guns, a 2014 Dodge Ram truck and $14,000 cash.

Police say a resident of Belleville and a resident of Val-des-Monts face several charges under the Cannabis Act, the Cannabis Regulation Act, and the Firearms Act.
