Police seeking witnesses to Carp Road collision that left woman in life-threatening condition

The Ottawa Police Service is asking witnesses to a two-vehicle collision that left one woman in life-threatening condition on Carp Road, in the city’s west end, Thursday afternoon to come forward.

Police say they received a call reporting the incident near Rothbourne Road at around 3:20 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found the injured woman. The 34-year-old victim was taken to hospital by paramedics in life-threatening condition.

“Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police,” police said in a news release Friday.
