Gatineau police say a pedestrian died Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle. Police were called to the scene at rue Gamelin and boulevard Moussette at around 5 p.m. Monday for a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead, police told CTV News Ottawa. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital, police said, but there was no further detail on their condition. Gatineau police say the investigation remains ongoing to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding the incident.
