Linus Ullmark, netminder for the Ottawa Senators, is taking a leave of absence from the team for personal reasons, the organization says. “Linus has the full support of our organization during this time,” Steve Staios, general manager of the Ottawa Senators, said in a media release. “Out of respect to Linus, we will not be making any further comments.” The 32-year-old Swedish goaltender is in his second season with the Senators, who acquired him from the Boston Bruins in 2024. This season, Ullmark started 28 games, collecting 14 wins and 1 shutout with a .881 save percentage.
