Ottawa OPP seeking driver involved in collision on Hwy. 417

Ontario Provincial Police in Ottawa are seeking the driver of a van following a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Highway 417 on Saturday afternoon.

According to statement from OPP on social media, the collision happened in the westbound lanes of the highway near Bronson Avenue at approximately 12:19 p.m.

OPP are looking to speak to the driver of a silver Honda Odyssey they say caused the collision.

Dashcam footage of the incident shared by police shows the van attempting to change into a lane occupied by a black sedan. The black sedan is then seen swerving and striking a pickup truck, and is subsequently struck by the vehicle that captured the dashcam footage.
